Frissonance

“I never miss a chance to have sex or appear on television.”

Gore Vidal

Now the above quote is very clever or as we say spiritoso, but it is not the case when it comes to Frissonance, which Astrid who is into these things says is a kind of echo with a shudder. I like that idea. It reminds me of what happens when I get here in the morning. And if I am lucky enough to have spent the night with my girlfriend (who shall remain without name and therefore far from predatory eyes), I am feeling good about myself. No one is about. Not yet. Those lazy Soho types never get up before 11. Anyway, it’s just me, and the street cleaners. All the clubbers have gone to bed, and it seems to me nothing can disturb my peace. I enter the café, turn off the alarm, and put on some music. At that time of the morning it has to be Alice Coltrane, or Francis Bebeny. That is what I call Frissonance.
