Strawba Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce of fresh lime juice
  • 3 ounces of frozen sliced juicies in syrup, or fresh strawbs
  • 1-3 teaspoons of sugar to taste
  • Crushed ice

Method

Fill your mixer with crushed ice. Add lime juice, strawbs or juicies, and sugar. Blend until smooth. You may add a little water if it is too thick. Finally, garnish with an extra strawb.

Strawba For Mum and Dad

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh strawbs, plus ½ for garnish
  • 2 teaspoons of white sugar
  • 35ml/1½ fl oz white rum
  • 1 tablespoon of strawberry liqueur
  • 25 ml/1 fl oz lime juice

Method

Place the strawbs, sugar, rum, strawberry liqueur and lime juice into the base of a cocktail shaker and mash with the end of a clean rolling pin. Put the lid on the cocktail shaker and give it a good shake. Finally strain the mix into a Martini glass and garnish with half a strawb.
